"We love what we do!"
In 1988, we were feeling adventurous and full of excitement and moved to Balranald to own & operate the now called Balranald Bakery. We started with the bakery at the rear of the shop selling bread, pies, pasties, cakes and pastries.
Back then, there was only 4 staff, Paul, Jo, a baker and a shop assistant. After approximately 2 years as business grew, we gradually employed more staff.
With the demand for more delicious cakes, slices, bread and coffee, we extended into a café and took over the shop next door. And again a few years later as the business flourished, we extended to the second shop.
Now in our 26th year, we have employed over 16 staff members and we have also ventured out into catering for small meetings & functions. Paul & Jo Fenna
At Balranald Bakery all our breads are baked from scratch. We use only quality flour and ingredients.
The doughs are mixed, scaled, rounded and moulded in our new bread plant.
The dough rises for 1 hour, then baked, cooled & sliced.
